Sevilla chief Monchi says there is no resentment towards Pablo Sarabia over his summer move to PSG.

Upon his return from AS Roma, there was hope inside Sevilla that Monchi would convince Sarabia to stay after orignally signing him from Getafe.

The sports director told Le Parisian: "It is never the right time for us to see such a player leave us (smile). But we understood the requests of PSG and his desire to discover something else.

"We are happy to see him flourish and play in Paris. You know, playing in Sevilla is not just a job but something very sentimental. He was attached to this club and his tears during his farewell were real."
