Sevilla sports chief Joaquin Caparros has confirmed Steven Nzonzi wants to leave.

The France midfielder's father delivered a transfer demand during the World Cup this summer.

“It's true that Nzonzi wants to leave, but he still has two years left on his contract with us," Caparros told Cadena Ser.

“He is on the market and if he wants to go, he must bring an important offer.

"Otherwise, he'll remain here for another two years and he will respect his contract."
