Released Crystal Palace midfielder Mathieu Flamini is being lined up for a return to Italy.

The former AC Milan midfielder, 33, was cut loose by Palace at the end of last season.

TMW says Flamini has offers from three Serie A clubs to extend his career. SPAL, Hellas Verona and Sampdoria are all in contact.

Flamini played 96 matches in Serie A for Milan between 2008 and 2013.
