Sergio Romero desperate to leave Man Utd

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero wants to leave the club before the transfer window closes.

The Argentine knows he is now third choice with Dean Henderson coming back from his loan spells at Sheffield United.

And The Sun claims Romero is also upset he did not get a chance to start the Europa League semi final defeat to Sevilla, having played in the competition before that game.

He has been a loyal no.2 at United for several years, behind David De Gea, but now wants a fresh challenge.

The 33-year-old wants more game time as he attempts to prolong his career and make the Copa America and World Cup with Argentina in the coming years.

United are also happy to let him go, provided they get a decent fee.
