Sergio Ramos hoping Real Madrid buy

Sergio Ramos insists Real Madrid were deserved winners at Real Betis.

The captain netted the winning goal from the penalty spot after Betis had turned the game around at the end of the first half.

"We had the mentality to come back after a bad final half hour of the first half," Ramos told Movistar+ at full time.

"The key was to equalise quickly [after half time]."

Betis felt aggrieved by some of the refereeing decisions in the second half, such as Emerson's red card and the penalty against Marc Bartra.

"I'm sure the opponent feels hard done by but the referee did his best and never did anything intentionally," Ramos said.

As for Real Madrid's transfer business, Ramos welcomed any new faces before the window shuts on October 5.

"If someone has to come in, welcome," he added.

"If not, we'll carry on with the players that are here now."
