Real Valladolid coach Sergio González admitted frustration with their defeat on Saturday to Barcelona.
Barca won 1-0 on a dodgy pitch thanks to Ousmane Dembele's goal - awarded after VAR.
"We were forced back for the first 30 minutes, we know how to suffer, and we know how to deal with dangerous situations. We then grew into the match, playing good football and went in search for the point which didn't arrive but perhaps we deserved," said Gonzalez.
Gonzalez said his players "are also footballers, not agriculturists" and that "nobody is interested in playing on a pitch that doesn't meet the required conditions."
However he defended the club by saying: "Real Valladolid didn't have a lot of time to prepare and we've done everything we possibly could to provide the best conditions available."
