Sergino Dest was pleased with his Barcelona debut in their 1-1 draw with Sevilla.

The former Ajax defender replaced the injured Jordi Alba, playing out of his natural position as left-back.

"I'm very happy to debut and for the confidence that (coach Ronald) Koeman has shown me," said Dest, although he added: "I'd have preferred to have debuted with a win and not a draw."

He enjoyed playing at Camp Nou.

"It's an incredible sensation, it was a really nice debut despite the fact there was no fans. Camp Nou is one of the most impactful stadiums in the world."

He did not mind being used at left back.

"I don't have a problem playing left back, I'm a right back but available for what the coach and team need."
