Serbia U21 coach Goran Djorovic is delighted for Luka Jovic over his move to Real Madrid.

Real swooped for the Serbia striker in a €70m deal with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Djorovic, a former Deportivo La Coruna defender, said: "It is an honour for all of Serbia, we feel pride. Luka has been out of the country for a long time and is a player that we have always followed, his projection has always been very important.

"I have no doubt that he will be a success with Madrid. He has done a lot for the U21s, I can only be grateful to him, he played almost the whole qualifying phase (nine games, in which he scored seven goals) and is already a senior international and has always wanted to come to the European Championship, his commitment is total.

"That is why we have called him, because we believe in him and because he is the reference of Serbia in attack right now. In fact he is one of the players with the most future in Europe. And from this enormous potential we want to take advantage in Serbia - and Madrid will also see it."
