Former Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is happy seeing Granit Xhaka at the Emirates.
The 31-year-old, who now plies his trade with Rangers in Scotland, says he will never forget his time at the club.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal's Champions League win over Basel, he told Blick: “It was a great time in London, Arsenal is a big club, which I will forever carry in my heart."
Xhaka has made a positive start to life at the Emirates following his £35m summer arrival from German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.
“I am pleased that once again a Swiss plays at Arsenal," added Senderos.
“He is the future!"
