Agent Dmitri Seluk has apologised for past criticism of Manchester City.

Seluk was Yaya Toure's agent when he was with City and lashed out at both the club and manager Pep Guardiola when the Ivorian was ushered out of the club.

Sulek even claimed at the time in 2018 that African shamans would curse the team so that it would never win the Champions League.

But he now says: “I want to apologise for this situation. I think it's time to stop these grudges and I know Yaya feels the same way because he wishes City nothing but success.

"I can tell that the shamans have now lifted the curse. I think Manchester City will win the Champions League under Pep. They have a good chance of winning this year. But no matter what happens, they will definitely win the Champions League in the next three years."
