Seedorf says AC Milan pal Beckham calm ahead of Man Utd reunion

AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf says teammate David Beckham is in the right frame of mind to face former club Manchester United in the Champions League.

Beckham, 34, supported United as a kid and played more than 300 games for them before leaving Old Trafford for Real Madrid in a £25million move back in July 2003.

And tomorrow night's emotionally-charged clash will be his first game against the Red Devils.

Seedorf, 33, said: "I have spoken to David about facing United and he's very much looking forward to it.

"It is like when I went back to Madrid the first time - you want to win but you have mixed feelings.

"It's going to be special for him but he's been coping with pressure his whole career, even if this is a very different situation.

"David's a great guy and is having a good time. He's performing well and I hope we can give him a very nice present by winning against United."
