Second-half performance much improved - Liverpool's Henderson

Liverpool's Jordan Henderson felt his side improved out of sight in the second half at Swansea City on Monday night.

The Swans produced the better of the chances in the opening 45 minutes before some alterations allowed the Reds to work their way back into proceedings in their eventual 1-0 triumph which came courtesy of Henderson's 68th-minute winner.

The Reds skipper told Sky Sports 1: "We were struggling in the first half to match them in terms of intensity and pressing the ball.

"In the second half we changed it to press better, press higher, and it was a big factor in the game."

The victory allowed Liverpool to move within two points of fourth-placed Manchester United who they meet at Anfield this weekend.
