Mauro Rosales admits that he is sad following the news that Argentine powerhouse River Plate were relegated to the second division.
The Seattle Sounders winger left the Buenos Aires outfit late last year to link up with the MLS club and learnt that for the first time in their 110-year history they will be going down from the Primera Division.
"I just heard at the end of the game and I'm really, really sad," he said after the weekend's win over New England Revolution.
"I can't complete my happiness with this game because it's a very bad feeling. I'm very sorry for the players and the fans. I can't say anything. I hope they can come up again as soon as possible. It's very frustrating."
