Seattle Sounders have renewed their sponsorship deal with Delta Air Lines, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

Delta will continue as the official airline of the American club and as the presenting partner of the first team. The extension was marked with a block party event involving 4,000 of Delta's employees and their families, which featured a pre-game rally at CenturyLink Field ahead of the Sounders game against the Portland Timbers last weekend.

"Delta's commitment to Seattle doesn't stop at the airport," said Mike Medeiros, Delta's vice president for Seattle.

"As an airline, we're always looking to enhance the customer experience – but our partnership with the Sounders lets us enhance the fan experience, as well. With the extension, we look forward to continue serving Sounders fans both at the airport and on the field."
