Sean St Ledger featured for Leicester City in their U23 friendly defeat against Leamington.
The Leicester Mercury says St Ledger, who made 44 appearances for City between 2011 and 2014, came off the bench as Steve Beaglehole's side squandered a half-time lead in their second pre-season fixture.
Due to a serious knee injury, St Ledger has not played a senior match since October 2015 and was released by MLS side Colorado Rapids late last year.
The 32-year-old was back with City on Friday though, alongside another former player, Dean Hammond, who has been regular for the under-23s over recent months.
