West Bromwich Albion midfielder Liam O'Brien is extending his loan with Scunthorpe United.

The 21-year-old's initial spell with the Iron came to an end after Saturday's 4-1 win at Walsall, but Tony Pulis has agreed to a longer stay.

Manager Mark Robins said: "Liam has been a really good player for us which is why I wanted to extend his deal for the rest of the season.

"He has done really well for us so it is very pleasing to keep him here."
