SCOUTING REPORT: The 5 Championship superkids wanted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton

Joe Baker runs his expert eye over the talent in the Championship and picks out five whizkids Premier League managers will be considering leading up to the January market.

 1) Luke Hyam (Ipswich Town)

Luke Hyman has become an important figure in Ipswich's team over the last few seasons and has developed into a promising midfield player. The academy product provides the energy and spark in the Tractor Boys' side, and he can also spot a good pass too. Mick McCarthy rates the 22 year-old highly and he will continue to be used as Ipswich hope to mount a charge for the top six. Despite the presence of Arsenal and Crystal Palace scouts at Portman Road in recent weeks, a Premier League move is out of the question for Hyam - for now.

2) Will Hughes (Derby County)

It is widely regarded that Will Hughes will make is Premier League bow at some point. Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool have been interested in him as he continues to set alight the Championship stage. However, with Derby recently tying him down to a new four-year deal, it seems unlikely he will be sold without a fight.

3) Cyrus Christie (Derby County)

Another Rams youngster in the form of Cyrus Christie has started the new season impressively after his move from Coventry City. The 22 year-old has slotted in at right-back for Steve McClaren's side and made an assist in their 1-0 victory over Rotherham on the first day of the season. Derby play free-flowing attacking football, and the likes of Liverpool and Everton should be keeping tabs on him, more so Everton for whom the versatile Christie would provide competition for Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines.

4) Adam Reach (Middlesbrough)

Middlesbrough's Adam Reach has already attracted a host of interest from clubs in the top division. Press reports claim that scouts from Hull City, along with nine other Premier league outfits, have been to see the winger in action. Reach has managed to break into the first team this season, after spending previous campaigns out on loan. He made an impact in Boro's win over Huddersfield, earning a late penalty which helped them claim a 2-1 victory.

5) Callum Harriot (Charlton Athletic)

Callum Harriot was Charlton's saviour last season, scoring five goals in the final two games as they narrowly avoided relegation to League 1. He is a winger like Reach, who primarily plays on the left, and has a good eye for goal, as well as using pacing and his close dribbling skills to burn past opponents. Comparisons can be made to Raheem Sterling, of who is England's main man at the moment. Can Harriot follow in Raheem's footsteps and become an England star in the future? One under the radar, but definitely worth keeping tabs on.
