Wales captain Ashley Williams has lashed out at Scotland saying their tackling on Friday night was a disgrace.
Chris Coleman's Dragons beat Scotland 2-1 at Hampden Park in 2014 World Cup qualifying but Swansea City centre-half Williams was not at all pleased with the treatment his teammates copped from Gordon Strachan's men.
"It was disgraceful," Williams told SunSport.
"The tackles on Gareth (Bale) were late, the ones on Bellers (Craig Bellamy) were just outright ridiculous, they haven't even tried to get the ball.
"That makes the win even sweeter.
"We're really pleased with the performance - we showed both sides to our game.
"We dug in and showed character to come back and then we were really good on the ball."
Wales conceded first when Grant Hanley scored for Scotland but fought back to record a much-needed victory thanks to second-half goals from Aaron Ramsey (penalty) and Hal Robson-Kanu after Scottish winger Robert Snodgrass was sent off. Ramsey also saw red in the final minute of the clash.
