Schwarzer eyeing consecutive Fulham wins

Mark Schwarzer has urged Fulham to go after another victory this weekend after ending a seven-game winless streak on Monday night.

The Southwest Londoners defeated Newcastle United 2-1 at Craven Cottage to mark their first triumph since October 20 and the Australian goalkeeper wants to make it another lot of three points when they travel to QPR on the weekend.

"It's a massive game. We just need to recover now and take the confidence from Monday night's game into the weekend," he told the club's official website.

"We should have won by more against Newcastle. We had some very good chances, not half-chances or lucky chances - very, very good ones. Their keeper played very well and on another day we might have won more comfortably.

"But of course we're pleased to have won. It was a big game, Newcastle were on similar points to us and it was important to get a win. We'd gone seven games without a win, we'd been unlucky at times, so it's nice to be back to winning ways."
