Schwarzer and Fulham hoping to bounce back

Fulham will be hoping they can overcome their midweek FA Cup quarter-final loss to Tottenham when they meet Premiership strugglers Hull City at KC Stadium this weekend. With Mark Schwarzer in goals for the Cottagers, life is sure to be difficult for the Tigers forwards who will have Richard Garcia in tow.

Fulham are currently placed 10th on the league table and want to push deep into the upper echelon of teams whilst Hull are staving off relegation as they sit in the mire, three points in arrears of safety.

In Wolverhampton, Tim Cahill hopes Everton can continue their recent good form and back up their midweek win over Manchester City when they tackle Wolves.

The Toffees have stormed up the table in recent weeks and now sit eighth, just five point out of the top five whilst Mick McCarthy's Wolves are in 15th but have a seven-point buffer on the drop zone.

In Lancashire, Brett Emerton and Vince Grella will be pushing for selection for Blackburn Rovers who are up against Burnley at Turf Moor.

Emerton came on as a late substitute in the Rovers' 2-1 midweek win over Birmingham City but Grella again missed with a calf injury and this clash with the Clarets gives them the opportunity to jump into the top half of the table as Burnley will rely on their good home form to get them out of the relegation rut they currently find themselves in.

Elsewhere in the UK, Nick Carle is back in favour and form at Crystal Palace who are at home to Cardiff City in the Championship, Adam Federici takes the gloves for Reading as they host West Bromwich Albion, whilst Rhys Williams and Brad Jones will be in the Middlesbrough squad to take on Watford at Vicarage Road but Scott McDonald misses with a hamstring injury.

In League One, Neil Kilkenny and loanee Shane Lowry will attempt to keep Leeds United in the title race as they take on league leaders Norwich City at Carrow Road as Whites' defender Patrick Kisnorbo looks to next season after seriously injuring his Achilles earlier this week.

And also in League One, Gareth Edds and Tranmere Rovers are away to Brighton.
