Schreuder reunion as Ajax to close deal for RB Leipzig midfielder Ilaix Moriba

RB Leipzig are selling former Barcelona midfielder Ilaix Moriba to Ajax.

Ilaix replaces Ryan Gravenberch who is joining Bayern Munich, and his arrival was requested buy new coach Alfred Schreuder, who knows Ilaix well having been Ronald Koeman's assistant at Barcelona.

The Dutch coach thinks the midfielder can bring a lot to his new project in the Netherlands.

He was important at Barcelona but decide to leave for Leipzig, where he struggled and was loaned to Valencia.

Barcelona have 10 per cent of the sale due to them.

De Telegraaf says Ilaix will cost 22 million so Barcelona will rake in 2.2 million of that when the deal is done.
