Scholes: Man Utd serious about lifting FA Cup

Paul Scholes says Manchester United's dressing room are desperate for victory today against FA Cup semis against Everton.

The midfielder told ManUtd.com: "We don't like to lose semi-finals and we've a chance of getting to Wembley again, and it would be a major thrill to be there at the end of the season. We just hope we have that feeling.

"OK, it'll be a tough game against Everton - they're a good team with good players - but we're hopeful we can win it."

While United are juggling three competitions at the moment, victory on Sunday would allow the team to put the cup aside for a few weeks to focus on league and European matters.

"That's exactly it," Scholes added. "We hope we can play well on Sunday, win the game and then that can go on the backburner until the end of the season, as something to look forward to."
