Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid feels strongly that his team have already earned respect even though they are only four games old in MLS.
Speaking after his team's first defeat against Kansas City Wizards, Schmid said, "I'm most proud we played a man down for 60 to 65 minutes and Kansas City was celebrating quite extensively at the end of the game.
"That shows how much respect we've already garnered in this league. If they're playing a man up and win a squeaker and they're happy, that's good for us."
