Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel would be willing to leave the club this summer.
The son of former Manchester United keeper Peter Schmeichel is a reported target for the Red Devils.
The form of David De Gea is in question, and Schmeichel is touted as a possible replacement.
And The Times says the 33-year-old could want a move to an elite team to prove he can do it at the very highest level.
But United may have a much cheaper option at the club in Dean Henderson, who was on loan at Sheffield United for the past two seasons.
If manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a more experienced figure, he may go for Schmeichel, although Leicester would not make any transfer easy.
