Leicester City captain Kasper Schmeichel has hailed the progress of the Foxes over recent years.

Leicester are preparing for the second-leg of their Europa Conference League quarterfinal against PSV.

Schmeichel reflected: "Look where we're sitting, we're probably at the best training ground in the country, we're playing regular European competition, and have won trophies.

"Those are moments in history, competing with the best teams in the best competitions. It's where the fun is. It's important a club like this tries to keep improving and evolving.

"We're not the flashiest club, but we've consistently been able to mix it with the big boys."
