Schmeichel: Being Leicester captain greatest individual honour you can achieve

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel says he's proud to be club captain.

Schmeichel succeeded Wes Morgan this season as Leicester captain.

Ahead of their Europa League clash with Napoli, The Dane said: "I believe that being a club captain is the greatest individual honour you can achieve. It is a huge honour with big shoes to fill. However, when I look into the locker room as captain, I am very confident.

"I'm hoping for another special night. They are a really good team, which is dangerous.

"The team has worked hard on the training ground to be ready to play against them."
