Ezequiel Schelotto says he will help countrymen Alexis Mac Allister settle at Brighton.

The Argentine has finally arrived at the AMEX after loan spells in his homeland with Argentinos Juniors and Boca Juniors.

He said, "I remember when I came to Europe for the first time from Argentina to play in Italy I was 18 and had my Dad with me – just the two of us. It wasn't easy but all I wanted to do was play football.

"So I know what it's like and I will help Alexis in any way I can and be close to him.

"We have a good club here who help young players who are away from home from the first time. Hopefully my experiences of Europe and being from Argentina like him can help Alexis."
