Schalke youngster Weston McKennie are being linked with Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has admitted the Reds are unlikely to complete any transfer deals in January.

However, according to The Sun, Liverpool are eyeing highly-rated USA midfielder McKennie.

Reds scouts have watched the 20-year-old on numerous occasions during his time in the Bundesliga.

And Klopp is debating a £20m bid this month - otherwise the Reds could return in the summer.
