Schalke winger Rabbi Matondo is happy seeing Wales teammate Daniel James succeed with Manchester United.

Matondo says James' impact since leaving Swansea City last summer is no surprise.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "I am not surprised.

“Even playing in the U21s with Dan and playing against him for Swansea in the U23s league, he has always had potential to do what he is doing now.

“I still think there is more to come from him so I am happy for him and I hope that he continues to do that."
