Leroy Sane will cost any interested clubs around £40million according to reports.

It is believed that Schalke have denied claims that the 20-year-old winger has a release clause of £28m, and will instead demand more for their prized asset.

Manchester United are showing significant interest in Sane and have sent scouts to watch him in action in recent times.

Crosstown rivals Manchester City are also keen while Spanish champions Barcelona have been credited with an interest.

Liverpool and Arsenal are also in the hunt but the Daily Mail suggests that United are at the front of the queue, even though Schalke want to keep him for another 12 months, before selling for a hefty fee.
