Chelsea know fresh transfer interest in Ruben Loftus-Cheek will arrive in January.
The Mirror says Crystal Palace and Schalke are planning new approaches for midfielder Loftus-Cheek when the window reopens.
And with further suitors from home and abroad expected to join the race the Blues and Loftus-Cheek himself will have a decision to make.
Chelsea kept hold of Loftus-Cheek during the summer window despite only being able to give him minimal game time to build on his season-long loan at Palace last season and World Cup campaign with England.
Since the transfer window closed he has started just four times for Chelsea but managed to chip in with four goals, three coming in one Europa League game against BATE Borisov.
