Schalke are eyeing Stoke City winger Thomas Ince.

The Daily Mail says new Schalke coach Christian Gross wants to add attacking width to the Bundesliga strugglers and Ince has been offered.

The two clubs are already in contact after Schalke sent Rabbi Matondo to Stoke on-loan last week.

Ince is available from the Potters - so long as S04 will cover his €1m salary.

Now 28, Ince has played for the likes of Liverpool and Derby County.
