Schalke are on the brink of signing Chelsea fullback Abdul Rahman Baba.

The fit-again Ghana international is ready to return to Schalke on-loan to the end of this season.

Everton and Inter Milan have also asked after Baba, but Schalke are confident he will return after spending last season on-loan with them.

Baba will be released by Chelsea once they close their deal for Roma fullback Emerson Palmieri.
