Schalke coach David Wagner hopes to hold onto Jonjoe Kenny.

The Everton fullback is on-loan for the season with S04 and has been outstanding with the Bundesliga giants.

"He is recognised in the changing room as well as by our fans," enthused Wagner.

“It looks like we don't have the financial strength to buy him. If Everton decides to sell him, we are more or less without a chance.

“We really want to keep him with us in the club. And if there is a way to extend the loan, we would of course like to talk about it."
