Schalke boss Roberto di Matteo has confirmed interest in Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.
Khedira comes off contract at the end of the season.
"Khedira? We all know he's a great player. If he wants to come, the door is open.
"He's a world-class player," said Di Matteo.
