Schalke 3-1 Hapoel: Germans continue Tel Aviv's winless run

Schalke 04 have swept past Israeli outfit Hapoel Tel Aviv 3-1 in the Champions League.

The German club went second in Group B thanks to a double from Spanish striker Raul who netted in the 3rd minute before making it 2-0 just before the hour-mark.

Jose Jurado added a third for Schalke ten minutes later before Etey Shechter grabbed a consolation goal in the final minute.

The three points allowed Schalke to go outright second after Benfica lost to Lyon whilst Hapoel remained slumped at the bottom with no points from three games.
