SC Cambuur expect their partnership to continue with Manchester City.

Cambuur chief Henry van der Vegt says their relegation shouldn't affect the alliance with City.

"We have already spoken," assured Van der Vegt to Voetbal International.

"Jack Byrne was last season the City loanee with the most playing time. Albert Rusnak has come over to Cambuur to make a transfer to FC Groningen. We are busy and I think the chances are that there will be another player.

"It should only fit well for both sides."
