Saxon Earley is delighted to secure his first professional contract at Norwich City.
The youngster, who has been with the club since the under-9s, hopes he can break into the first team in the coming one or two years.
Earley is a box to box midfielder who believes that if you work hard enough at the Canaries, you do get chances to push on to the first team.
"It feels great (to have signed a pro contract), having been here so long and having worked so hard for it," he said, per the club website.
"I just want to crack on. I had a few injuries last season that held me back a bit, but I am looking forward to trying to stay fit and improve as much as I can over this year."
He added: "The coaches make that very clear.
"They say if you have consistent performances and work hard then age will not be an issue. They really try to push you on that road to the first team.
"Seeing players come through where you are now is great because you know if you push yourself hard and get performances like they did, there is always a path through and that is what can spur you on."
