Former Real Madrid striker Savio is delighted seeing Vinicius Junior making his way with the Spanish giants.
The young attacker scored in Sunday's 2-0 El Clasico triumph over Barcelona.
Savio told AS: "Little by little, Vinicius is releasing and gaining confidence. He is very young but has a lot of quality and, above all, a lot of personality. His goal left me very happy.
"I saw Vinicius a lot in Flamengo and he jumped from the juniors to the first team at only 17 years of age, that is not easy.
"The U20 category, which is a great base to learn, he did not experience.
"He made a very big jump in Brazil without being one hundred percent developed. Some things on the field you see that he is testing, improving ... especially his finishing and the last pass.
"He also strengthens tactically. You have to be careful with him."
