Fiorentina defender Stefan Savic says Stevan Jovetic can handle a move to Manchester City. Savic, 22, never managed to hold down a regular place at City, and was sold to the Italian club last summer as part of the deal which took Matija Nastasic to Manchester.
But he believes it would be a different story for £28million-rated Jovetic, 23.
He said: "It was hard for me there because I came straight from the Serbian league. I won a league title but knew I had to play regularly to improve, so I left - it was my decision.
"It is different for Stevan. He has five years' experience and could play straight away with Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez."
