SATURDAY STATS SPECIAL: Falcao's Man Utd impact, Walters scores 'perfect' hat-trick for Stoke, Liverpool's Sturridge returns with a bang

Monaco loanee Radamel Falcao has been efficient in his nine Premier League starts for Manchester United.

In Saturday's Premier League stats special, we touch on Falcao's positive impact for United, while Jon Walters produced a special treble and Daniel Sturridge lit up Liverpool.

Stats compiled by Opta

ERIKSEN THE VOYAGER

- Christian Eriksen's 6th minute goal in Tottenham's 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns was his sixth on the road this season. He has scored 9 in total in the BPL this term.

KANE IS CERTAINLY ABLE

- Harry Kane's 15th-minute finish and 64th-minute penalty in Spurs' triumph at West Brom took his total to 20 goals in all competitions this season. No other BPL player has more.

CLARETS DEFENCE BLEEDS AGAIN

- Connor Wickham's goal in the 20th minute of Sunderland's 2-0 over Burnley was the 12th time the Clarets have conceded a headed goal, more than any other BPL club.

KRANJCAR'S HOBBY IS POTTERY?

- Niko Kranjcar's 36th-minute goal in QPR's 3-1 loss at Stoke City was the third time he has scored in three visits to the Britannia Stadium. He previously tallied against the Potters for Tottenham in a 2-1 win in 2010 and in a 2-2 draw for Portsmouth in 2009. The Croatian was also on the scoresheet in the 2-2 draw between QPR and Stoke at Loftus Road in September.

STATS CAN'T DENY FALCAO'S MAN UTD IMPACT

- Radamel Falcao has certainly had an impact for Manchester United despite some negative press. The Colombian has had a hand in seven goals - scoring four and assisting three - in just nine BPL starts following his one-goal effort in United's 3-1 over Leicester City.

DEFOE CREEPS UP SCORING CHARTS

- Jermain Defoe's 34th-minute goal for Sunderland, his first for the club, was his 125th BPL goal moving him level with Nicolas Anelka in joint-13th place on the all-time scoring charts.

STERLING TURNS BACK TIME

- Raheem Sterling's 51st-minute goal in Liverpool's 2-0 win over West Ham United was his first in the BPL at Anfield since the opening day of the season.

FOXES EFFICIENT AGAINST RED DEVILS

- Leicester City's 80th-minute goal from Marcin Wasilewski was the sixth time they have scored from six shots against Manchester United this season. Unfortunately they lost 3-1 at Old Trafford following their 5-3 win at home in September.

RETURNING STURRIDGE THE SUPER SUB AGAIN

- Daniel Sturridge marked his first appearance for Liverpool in five months with a goal in the 80th minute of their 2-0 win over West Ham. It was his fifth goal in seven sub appearances for the Reds.

WALTERS PRODUCES 'PERFECT' HAT-TRICK

- Jon Walters became the first BPL player since Kevin Nolan and Romelu Lukaku did so in May 2013 to score a 'perfect hat-trick'. He netted with his right foot, left foot and his head in Stoke City's 3-1 win over QPR to notch his first ever BPL treble.

QPR CONTINUE SHAMBOLIC TRAVELS

- QPR's 3-1 loss at Stoke was their 11th away defeat of the season making them the first club since Liverpool in 1953/54 to be beaten in their first 11 on the road.
