Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali insists there's no plans to sell midfielder Davide Frattesi.

Frattesi has been linked with a return to Roma.

“Frattesi has been with us for a few years, he is doing well and has great potential," Sassuolo director Carnevali told Radio Sportiva.

“Well we are waiting for calls not just from Roma, but other clubs too. We would like to give him the opportunity to join a big club, so we have never refused anyone that chance, as long as our requests are met.

“He knows that he still needs to grow and improve a bit, do a little more, and I am convinced he'll flourish in the second half of this season.

“We'll see over the summer what possibilities there are. We have received a few offers, even if not directly from Roma but abroad. We generally don't like to sell our young talents in the January window."
