Italian club Sassuolo has confirmed an offer from Fulham for Marlon Santos.
The Brazilian is a centre-back who has excelled in Serie A over the past two seasons.
Now he is on the verge of a move to the Premier League after interest from the recently promoted London club.
Sassuolo's director Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed talks between the two clubs about a deal for Marlon.
The move may be worth up to €15 million, with half that fee going to Barcelona.
"The window closes on October 5, but we want to keep hold of our best players," Carnevali told Sky Sport Italia.
"There were never any temptations to sell, as we have a project here and it is all easier if the players also want to be a part of it."
