Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali insists Domenico Berardi could yet stay.

The striker is wanted by clubs across Europe.

However, Carnevali has hinted they have no plans to lose their captain.

He says: "He might want to join a big club and play in the Champions League, but he is our captain, so we'll have to think long and hard before letting him go.

“This is our 10th consecutive Serie A season, we have no real intention of selling our star players."
