Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants to add to the squad another of his former players — £45million-rated Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj.

The move risks ruffling the feathers of Sarri's squad even further after his weekend attack on them for “lacking motivation", says the Mirror.

Former Napoli boss Sarri has since held clear the air talks with his players but signing Hysaj would threaten the position of one of the team's senior players and fan favourites Cesar Azpilicueta, who is also their regular captain.

Chelsea are interested in a loan deal for 24-year-old Hysaj, but Napoli would prefer to sell him outright.
