Former Atletico Madrid fullback Juafran Torres says he's ready for his new career with Sao Paulo.

Juanfran made the move to Sao Paulo this summer.

The fullback said, “I have given my life for Atlético de Madrid, of course I find it strange to wear another shirt.

"Since I left, an even stronger bond has been created. I have not stopped receiving affection. It will be strange for me not to play with them.

"Everything good we have done will remain forever. That Atlético is what it is now was achieved by a few with a lot of work.

"We spend good times and bad times but you learn everything and it makes you better. Those two (Champions League) finals were tough, but everything we have won far exceeds it."
