Sunderland and Middlesbrough have been offered Brescia defender Fabiano Santacroce.
The Journal says the 20-year-old is wanted by Roma but Brescia officials resigned to his departure would prefer for the shot-stopper to advance his career elsewhere and are reluctant to sell him to an Italian club.
