Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz passed a medical at Manchester City and has now completed his move to Eastlands. The long-term City target has cost boss Mark Hughes around £18million.

Ironically the 27-year-old Paraguay international will return to Ewood Park a little sooner than he would have expected with Rovers hosting City on the opening day of the Premier League season.
