Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz says he would be content to remain with the club if no other option was available.
The Paraguay international has been long been linked with a move away from Ewood Park but has been stifled by a hefty buyout clause in his contract.
Santa Cruz says that if no club come forward, he will stay at Blackburn until his contract ends.
"A signed document stipulates that there's a lot of money to pay to take me away from Blackburn," he said.
"If they don't want to sell me, then I must complete my contract and continue with them. I am under contract until 2012."
