Arsenal pair Per Mertesacker and Yaya Sanogo reportedly clashed at training, leaving the German with a shiner. The German defender was left bruised after clashing with the 21-year-old French striker during training, reports the Sunday Telegraph.
The Gunners played down the clash, telling the paper it was the kind of incident that happens throughout the course of a season.
Sanogo has not been punished by the club.
The bust-up took place before today's 5-1 thrashing at Liverpool although it is not clear when.
